Jeff Rice is a newspaper reporter and writer, former adjunct English professor, and freelance writer. He has spent most of his adult life in journalism in Colorado and is one of the few journalists who actually understands western water issues.
He is a liberal, an agnostic, a curmudgeon, an iconoclast, and a skeptic. He is a veteran but doesn’t really like to talk about it. He lives with Kathy, his wife of more than 40 years, just outside his hometown of Sterling. He loves his wife, his country and the Denver Broncos. He enjoys woodworking and his grandchildren, usually in that order.
